Friends About Town
We loved having Mommy's friend Carri and her sweet daughter Lily visit us earlier this month! We're so glad they recently moved a few states closer and hope to see them more often. We also met Lily's adorable cousins.

Valentine's Day
The three of us went on a lovely date for Valentine's Day dinner (on Sunday at 5 o'clock. Julian prefers the early bird special.)
Julian loved the tissue paper we got him for a gift. (And the truck that came with it.)

Philly visit
Two weeks ago, we spent a lovely weekend in Philadelphia. Julian met the newest almost-member of the Leibovitz family: Michelle, who was recently engaged to John's cousin Mattie. Michelle is a pediatrician and knew just how to make Julian smile.
Julian also got some quality time with his "aunt" Rosie (the dog), and of course Glo Glo and Zayda!
The REAL Aunt, John's aunt Sandy, came by for a visit.
On Sunday, our friends Corey, Alli and Sophie joined the family for dim sum in Chinatown.
Julian converses with his human friend Sophie, and his plastic friend Sophie the Giraffe (the real Sophie was fascinated by this naming coincidence!)

9 Months Old
I turned 9 months old on January 27th. Here's a photo of me on the big day. I keep telling my parents that I'm old enough for my own phone now, but they won't listen. Sigh.
PS, I weighed 19 lbs., 12 oz., and measured 28 and 3/4 inches long at my 9 month doctor's appointment... right around the 50th percentile for little boys!

Feeding Myself
Julian has just mastered a new skill: feeding (and drinking) himself! He wanted to show off these pictures of mealtime (tofu, kiwi, some cereal puffs and a tall drink of water.) Julian says "spoons are for BABIES!" Now if only we could borrow that dog to clean the floor...
